Financial software is bought carefully, by people who are paid professionally to be sceptical. Compliance and reporting, accounting, spend management, invoicing, payroll and treasury tools compete here for buyers with long procurement cycles and very little patience for claims that cannot be substantiated. Appearing consistently matters more than appearing first, and the listings that do well are usually the ones naming a specific regulation, workflow or filing they handle rather than promising general financial clarity. This is also the most heavily moderated vertical on APEX. Anything resembling an unlicensed financial service, an investment product or a return-generating scheme is removed under the market rules, without refund. The category is for software sold to finance teams, not for financial products sold to the public.
